This poem was inspired by this old favorite song. I am turning back the pages with this one, recalling a time from my past….hence, reflecting on personal growth and progress….
My blog, 'MORTAL HEARTS WITH IMMORTAL SOULS', is a place of fantasy, reality, spirituality and beauty. A place to unwind and find inspiration for the soul. It consists of my personal thoughts and experiences, poetry, prose, quotes, beautiful photos, uplifting music, words of encouragement, and undying love. I welcome respectful, open discussion, sincere opinions and feedback, and encourage any questions you may have personally or of that which pertains to the subject’s content.
I recently began writing a paranormal romance story. It is my dream to become a published author and I have had an amazing experience on this new writing adventure.
I live a quiet life, in the peace and tranquility of beautiful country surroundings. My husband and son are my life and my joy. I am your average person with a passion for reading and writing, and I love to sit and contemplate the mysteries of life and the experience of the human pilgrimage. This is a love story, the journey of our fragile, mortal bodies that have been endowed with the power of an immortal soul.
I do hope you enjoy the content found in this blog. I pour out my heart and soul into each word and lovingly present it to the world, for better or for worse.
This poem fits so well with the song… I love how you do this. *Purge the earth anew*…
This song takes me back to my childhood. Took me many years to be able to listen to this music again. Now I have a new found love for it. The pain is no longer held in the music. ♥
Thank you for sharing this poem… i love it.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with me….I am really glad you liked it….and I am happy to hear you hear the music instead of the pain now….this is very good, and quite prophetic….
There definitely is alot of pain and evil out there but that’s what freedom to make choices therefore, there will be real evil and real good done to mankind. A righteous desire Celeste!~Sincerely Deborah
I agree with you….there is a place for all things, as even evil and darkness has its purpose…without it, we would never know light…so he is able to save the darkness for in itself is the path to knowledge and salvation….that is more than most of us can achieve in a lifetime…..I learned long ago to tone down my harsh judgements of what I considered defiled and wicked….hence the reflection I spoke of at the beginning of the poem….I am so thankful for growth….I love to learn new things, especially those that have substance and the power to transform…..It is what makes life rewarding….thank you for sharing your thoughts with me…they always make me think….

This is one of my favorite authors of paranormal romance, and I highly recommend her 'Guild Hunter' Series. These are a deeply erotic, passionate and spiritual in content....I LOVE THEM! This is book #3 in the series...
