An Ode to Love Eternal…..for my lord, from his lady………

As much fun as I had in writing this, it is just as sincere in my heart of hearts. My sweetheart and I have come through so much more than there is room to tell, and we have seen and done things that most would never believe if we told them. Alongside children, knowing him had been the biggest adventure and very best part of my life. I wanted to take this time and space to proclaim it to the heavens, for my soul rejoices and my heart does sing, and would truly burst without an outlet. Thanks so much for taking a precious few of your moments to read this celebration of love.  Hope you enjoy. Hugs for all.

A declaration and public decree of my devotion, allegiance and gratitude  for my friend and soul mate.

A proclamation of my undying love for you, my prince… you are, and always will be, Lord of my heart.

If only I were able,  I would open up everything inside of me for you to see,

and lay prostrate before you at your feet.

I would take your hand and impart to you

all that is me;

every nerve and fiber, feeling and vision,

every hope and dream for our future together.

I would reveal my convictions and conscience

and each inspiration that captivates me,

for you to see and understand

the sincerity and magnitude of my love and desire for you.

You will never conceive to doubt what you mean to me,

and the importance of the place you hold

in my heart and in my life.

You are worthy of my heart,

loyal and gracious, breathtaking in all your ways.

I trust you with all my deepest secrets and fears,

and my heart is an open door for you;

You will forever be welcome inside.

Test me, try me, and I am tried.

You sit as my Lord, and I your Lady,

in a kingdom of our making

by the union of two souls as one.

We are joined deep as marrow,

and co-heirs of a mutual faith;

Our lights are twin flames burning bright,

lighting the darkest of nights.

We partake of our claimed goods as one,

and eat from the vineyards of our sweet victories together,

reveling and relishing in the joys of our plunder.

I thank you Jesus, for this man,

a son of your heart and kingdom.

May I always be counted worthy to be by his side

and in your presence,

all the days of my life.

And may our joining bring you peace and glory,

now and forevermore………..
