There comes a time when we as humans are tempted to judge and blame others for the very things we ourselves have done in our own past. Indeed we have all done it. It can be difficult to see where our own flaws originate and cloud our judgement of ourselves. When we judge in ignorance based on our ever changing mortal feelings, we are weakened and fail to see simple truth that ties us all together as human beings. The truth that we are all essentially the same in our heart of hearts, at the core of our eternal spirits. We are all of the same race, made from the same batch of flesh and share the same genetic make up. I believe that the laws of ‘Karma’ apply the same for the wise and the foolish. ‘Karma’ does not differentiate between us based on the knowledge inside our head. The role of this universal function is to aid in the distribution process of ’cause and effect’ and maintaining the balance in the universe. So, as for me I say, I will not rejoice in your folly. I’m still busy learning from my own mistakes. I’m also learning from yours. I will never be too proud to learn as long as I’m alive. I also know that some of these lessons won’t be easy, and some will break my heart. But I will continue to grow in intelligence and enlarge my capacity to empathize with the human race. I know that knowledge comes from an open mind and happiness comes from the ability to use it properly. So, in the end, I’m glad I can be whatever you need me to be for you, so long as the journey brings you back home.
Has anyone ever learned an especially painful lesson? Do you feel that you can, or have, gained more than you suffered or lost? What would you say to someone in the midst of a personal tribulation?
Thank you for reading and for any comments left.
Love and light, Celeste.
